So last night I got invited to go play hide 'n seek in cave.... yeah I know it sound odd, why would you play hide 'n' seek in a pitch dark cave with lots of sharp rocks around. I'll admit at first I said no, to me it sounded lame, why would I drive 45 mins down to St George to go play in a cave? But eventually I caved and went.
So in order to get to the cave we had to drive through St George and then up a canyon. Once we got to the canyon and parked we had to walk 10 mins to the actual cave, it was literally out in the middle of now where. And the cave was really more of a hole that we had to climb down into. It was ridiculously scary! Their were ledges that we had to jump down, and really tiny spaces we had to crawl through and bats flying around. But it was totally worth it!!!! After crawling around in the cave for about 15 minutes we finally made it to the cavern that we played in and that where the fun started. We had a bunch of heavy duty glow sticks that we broke open and put all over the cave. We just sprayed it everywhere, so it looked like we were standing in space. Then we took the some more glow sticks and out them all over ourselves. So we were covered too, and if we stood still we blended in to the walls and you couldn't see us. And that's how we played hide 'n' seek in a cave.
It was awesome!!!
I just read this book based on a true story where this guy got this virus from a cave that caused his insides to turn to mush and basically he hemoraged to death.
ReplyDeleteBut I would totally have done this and I'm glad you did! I love caves and doing random scary stuff I'm not used to doing.
